About the role

The primary responsibility of the Digital Marketing Executive is to manage and optimise Search Engine Marketing (SEM) campaigns, focusing on maximising visibility, efficiency, and ROI across Google Ads platforms.

Beyond SEM, the role provides support across other digital marketing functions, including paid media, SEO, website performance, GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation), and market research to ensure cohesive digital performance across all channels.

Job Scope

Search Engine Marketing (Primary Focus)

  • Plan, set up, and optimise Google Ads campaigns across Search, Display, YouTube, and Performance Max.
  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
  • Create and refine ad copy, sitelinks, and extensions to enhance ad relevance and CTR.
  • Monitor bidding strategies, audience segments, and conversion tracking to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
  • Analyse campaign data to identify trends, conversion patterns, and areas for optimisation.
  • Perform A/B testing on ads, landing pages, and audience groups to drive performance improvement.
  • Maintain campaign hygiene (negative keywords, budget pacing, and ad quality scores).
  • Generate and present weekly/monthly SEM performance reports with insights and recommendations.

Paid Media & Performance Support

  • Assist in campaign execution on platforms such as Meta, TikTok, and Xiaohongshu (XHS).
  • Support remarketing and lookalike audience strategies to complement SEM efforts.
  • Coordinate ad asset requirements and content alignment with internal creative teams.

SEO

  • Support basic SEO activities including keyword monitoring, site audits, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with content and web teams to ensure on-page SEO best practices.

Website Performance & Support

  • Conduct daily checks to ensure all brand websites and landing pages are live and functioning properly.
  • Liaise with external vendors or IT teams to resolve technical or downtime issues promptly.
  • Monitor page load speed, mobile responsiveness, and other key site performance metrics.
  • Ensure analytics tools, tracking codes, and pixels remain active and accurate.

GEO & AI Search Support

  • Monitor keyword rankings and AI search visibility (Google AI Overview, ChatGPT, Gemini, Bing AI).
  • Flag inaccurate or outdated AI results and coordinate with SEO/content teams to improve relevance.
  • Support GEO efforts such as structured data validation and optimisation.

Market Research & Trends

  • Stay informed on Google Ads innovations, automation features, and platform updates.
  • Track competitor activities and emerging industry trends.
  • Recommend new tools, targeting methods, or testing approaches to enhance performance

Job Requirement

  • Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in SEM campaign management (Google Ads).
  • Proficiency in Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and GA4.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to interpret campaign data.
  • Proactive and organised, able to manage multiple accounts and project

Nice-to-Have

  • Familiarity with SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush) and automation tools.
  • Experience with remarketing, lookalike audiences, and performance reporting dashboards (Looker Studio).
  • Understanding of AI-driven search tools and GEO principles.
