HR Assistant

Job Summary:
The HR Assistant will support the Human Resources Department in managing recruitment activities and maintaining accurate employee documentation. This role ensures that recruitment processes run smoothly and that employee records are well-organized, updated, and compliant with company policies and labor regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Selection
- Assist in drafting and posting job advertisements on various platforms.
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates based on job requirements.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Conduct initial phone screenings or reference checks when required.
- Maintain and update the recruitment tracker to ensure accurate status reporting.
- Prepare offer letters and assist with onboarding procedures for new hires.
HR Documentation & Records Management
- Maintain and update employee personal files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
- Support the preparation of employment contracts, letters, and HR forms.
- Track probation periods, contract renewals, and other employee status changes.
- Assist in preparing HR reports and maintaining HR databases.
- Ensure proper filing and archiving of HR documents (both physical and digital).
General HR Support
- Provide administrative support for HR-related activities and projects.
- Coordinate employee orientation and induction sessions.
- Support compliance with labor laws, company policies, and internal procedures.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in HR, preferably with a focus on recruitment and documentation.
- Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HR software systems.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Job Types: Contract, Temporary
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
