The Role
We're hiring a
Sales Manager (Design & Partnerships)
to expand VENGE's relationships with
interior designers, architects, and design studios
, and to convert those relationships into repeat projects, referrals, and long-term collaborations.
This is not transactional sales. You will be selling a premium material and an experience: curation, confidence, and execution.
What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Partnership building & business development
- Build and manage relationships with
interior designers, architects, and design studios
, positioning VENGE as their long-term stone partner. - Conduct
10–15 new outreach engagements per week
(studio visits, site visits, calls, WhatsApp/DM/email), with disciplined follow-ups. - Attend relevant industry events and networking opportunities to grow VENGE's presence within the design ecosystem.
Client experience & project conversion
- Lead client interactions end-to-end: understand design intent, recommend stones/finishes, and guide clients from concept to quotation.
- Host showroom appointments, present materials confidently, and deliver a premium, design-led experience aligned with the brand.
- Coordinate internally on samples, quotations, timelines, and execution planning to ensure an exceptional client journey.
Pipeline discipline & performance tracking
- Maintain a structured pipeline and submit
daily and weekly activity reporting
(outreach, meetings, opportunities, next steps). - Gather and share market intelligence (client preferences, competitor positioning, pricing sensitivity, design trends) to sharpen our strategy.
Relationship longevity
- Maintain strong post-sale relationships to drive
repeat work, referrals, and multi-project partnerships
with key firms.
What We're Looking For (Requirements)
Must-have
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and client-facing confidence—able to earn trust with professional stakeholders.
- Genuine passion for
interior design, architecture, and luxury materials
(you can speak the language of designers). - Self-driven, proactive, and organised—comfortable owning outreach, follow-ups, and reporting independently.
- Comfortable in a
results-driven
environment with flexible hours focused on outcomes. - Own transport required
(petrol subsidy provided during working hours).
Preferred (strong advantage)
- Experience in sales/partnerships within
interiors, construction, building materials, furniture, luxury retail, or premium services
. - Ability to host showroom walk-throughs and site meetings with polished presentation and strong brand alignment.
- Strong pipeline habits (Sheets/Excel/CRM-style tracking), proposal/quotation confidence, and follow-through discipline.
What Success Looks Like (90-Day Outcomes)
- A consistent outreach cadence with qualified designer/studio relationships entering the pipeline
- Strong showroom-to-quotation conversion and clear next-step control on active opportunities
- Reliable reporting discipline and improving monthly conversion/referral momentum
- Evidence of repeat engagement from design firms (samples, site discussions, multiple project leads)
