1.     Sales Activities:

  • Identify and pursue new sales leads through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and market visits.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with restaurants, wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, and food/beverage companies.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals and meet sales targets.
  • Manage client portfolios, including follow-ups, order processing, and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and educate clients on the benefits of coconut (e.g., health advantages of coconut water).

2.     Marketing Activities:

  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns, including digital (social media, e-commerce), print, and event-based promotions.
  • Conduct market research to analyze trends, competitor activity, and consumer demand for coconut products.
  • Create promotional materials such as brochures, social media content, and product literature highlighting value-added features.
  • Promote brand awareness through participation in agricultural trade shows, food expos, and online platforms.
  • Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies to maximize ROI.

3.     General Duties:

  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with production/supply teams to ensure product availability and quality.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, such as demand for organic or sustainable coconut products.

REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

1.     Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, or a related field (preferred).

years of experience in sales and marketing, ideally in agricultural products, food/beverage, or FMCG sectors.

3.     Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

4.     Strong knowledge of coconut products and their applications (e.g., health, culinary,) is a plus.

5.     Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

6.     Proficiency in digital tools (social media platforms).

7.     Willingness to travel for client meetings, trade shows, and market visits.

8.     Passion for natural/organic products and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
