Your Role in VT Markets
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic
HR Business Partner
to support our growing operations across the APAC region. This role is ideal for someone passionate about driving talent management, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness in a fast-paced, multicultural environment. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees, aligning HR strategies with business objectives, managing complex employee relations, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws. Additionally, you will champion performance management, leadership development, and regional HR initiatives while leveraging data insights to shape people strategies and foster a positive workplace culture.
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of HR experience, including experience in a regional HRBP or HR generalist role, ideally in the financial or trading sector.
- In-depth knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to manage relationships in a multicultural, regional context.
- Proven experience in managing employee relations and driving engagement initiatives across diverse teams.
- Proficiency in HR systems and data analytics; ability to use insights to drive decisions.
- Fluency in English required; additional languages spoken (e.g.,
Mandarin
, Cantonese, or Bahasa) are highly advantageous. - Strong organizational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
Your Responsibilities
Business Partnering
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees ensuring alignment between HR strategies and business objectives.
- Provide expert guidance on local HR matters, including workforce planning, talent retention, and employee relations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regional leaders to understand business needs and tailor HR solutions accordingly.
Talent Management and Acquisition
- Partner with managers to identify and address talent gaps, ensuring robust succession planning for key regional roles.
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to attract and onboard top talent.
- Support internal mobility and career progression initiatives within the region.
Employee Relations and Engagement
- Manage complex employee relations issues, ensuring alignment with local labor laws and company policies.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Act as a cultural ambassador, promoting cross-regional collaboration and inclusivity.
Performance Management
- Support the regional performance review process, ensuring consistency and fairness in evaluations and feedback.
- Provide coaching to managers and employees on performance improvement and career development plans.
Compliance and Policy
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- Regularly review and update HR policies to reflect regional nuances and ensure best practices.
Learning and Development
- Partner with regional leaders to identify skill gaps and coordinate targeted training programs.
- Champion leadership development initiatives to build a strong pipeline of talent.
HR Operations and Analytics
- Leverage data to generate insights on workforce trends, turnover, and engagement.
- Collaborate with global HR teams to implement and optimize HR systems and processes.
