Social Media Executive (Weddings & Lifestyle Platform)

We're looking for a creative and self-motivated
Social Media Exec
to join our team The ideal candidate is a dynamic individual with a flair for digital storytelling, a sharp eye for detail, and a genuine passion for all things weddings. You'll play a vital role in shaping our brand presence online — creating, curating, and managing engaging wedding-related content across multiple platforms.

This is a
hybrid role
based in Petaling Jaya, offering both flexibility and the opportunity to work closely with a tight-knit team. Our small team size means you'll receive hands-on mentoring, personalised guidance, and plenty of room to grow your skills.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a social media strategy tailored to the weddings and lifestyle space
  • Create and curate visually captivating content, including reels, carousels, and stories, using
    Canva
    and
    CapCut
  • Write compelling, on-brand copy that captures our tone
  • Plan, schedule, and manage content across key platforms:
    Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook
  • Track and analyse performance metrics for internal reports and client campaigns
  • Capture and edit reels or BTS content during styled shoots, events, or weddings (on an ad hoc basis)

Qualifications

  • Proven experience managing major social media platforms with a strong sense of visual aesthetics and trend awareness
  • Skilled in
    Canva
    and
    CapCut
    for content creation and editing
  • Proficient in
    Google Suite
    (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
  • Excellent copywriting and content editing skills
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a collaborative team

Bonus

  • Familiarity with SEO best practices for social media
  • Experience working with wedding vendors, or lifestyle brands
