Job Responsibilities

  1. New product / Enhancement to existing product pricing & implementation:

  2. Perform or review product pricing tasks, such as development of pricing models, determination of pricing assumptions and financial assessment.

  3. Ensure that Product illustration system and administrative system are implemented correctly, and participate in review of marketing and contractual materials.

  4. Ensure timeliness and accuracy in reporting to management and submission to BNM.

  5. Support BAU tasks and adhoc projects within Actuarial Pricing team, such as:

  6. Automation projects to improve efficiency

  7. Policy servicing
  8. Investment Linked Sustainability support
  9. Ensure proper documentation on the work performed.
  10. Other duties as assigned by Head of Department.
  11. Ensure compliance with Company and Regulatory policies and regulations. Other duties as required by the Management.

Job Requirement

  • Insurance product knowledge
    – preferably with prior exposure
  • Technical skills
    – proficiency in Microsoft Office and SQL
  • Education
    – university degree in Actuarial Science or equivalent qualification
  • Professional development
    – making good progress in professional examinations
  • Experience
    – minimum of 4 years relevant working experience
  • Core competencies
    – strong analytical ability, effective communication skills, and good time management
