Position: Senior Finance Executive

Reporting to: Head of Finance 

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Salary range : RM3,500-RM4,500

Position Summary

The Finance Executive is responsible for performing a variety of financial and accounting tasks to support the company's operations. This includes managing day-to-day financial transactions, assisting in the preparation of financial reports, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities. Working closely with senior finance professionals, you will have the opportunity to learn and enhance your skills while actively participating in diverse financial tasks.

Major Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and prepare comprehensive reports.
  • Support financial modeling and forecasting activities to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the finance team, providing valuable insights for strategic decision processes.
  • Assist the finance manager in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure precision and compliance with accounting principles and reporting standards.
  • Produce periodic financial reports for management and stakeholders.
  • Support in monitoring cash flow, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Learn and ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting requirements, and tax laws.
  • Assist in preparing documentation for audits and reviews.
  • Conduct bookkeeping activities, maintaining precise financial records and updating financial databases.
  • Organize and file financial documents and reports.

Requirements

  • Preferred experience in the blockchain industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in financial management or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance or accounting. CPA, ACCA, CIMA qualification is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to work with large quantities of data for analysis.
  • Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
