Responsibilities:

Human Resources Leadership

  • Oversee and manage the full HR lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, development, and retention.
  • Serve as a strategic partner to management, providing advice on HR matters, organization design, and workforce planning.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and best practices aligned with company values and local regulations.

Talent Acquisition & Development

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical, engineering, project management, and business roles.
  • Build a robust talent pipeline by leveraging partnerships, job portals, referrals, and campus programs.
  • Oversee onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new employees.
  • Plan and execute training, competency development, and career progression frameworks.

Performance Management

  • Manage performance appraisal processes, KPIs, and development reviews.
  • Coach managers on feedback delivery, performance improvement, and employee development.
  • Ensure alignment between organizational goals and individual performance outcomes.

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Oversee payroll coordination, leave management, benefits administration, and HR record-keeping.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal governance.
  • Manage employee contracts, renewals, expatriate documentation (if applicable), and policy updates.
  • Handle employee relations issues, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations professionally.

Culture & Employee Engagement

  • Drive employee engagement activities, company events, and recognition programs.
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
  • Support internal communication initiatives and encourage cross-department collaboration.

Organizational Support

  • Partner with leadership on organizational development, succession planning, and resource allocation.
  • Support change management initiatives related to company growth, process improvements, and digital transformation.
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and insights for management decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and HR operational processes.
  • Proven experience in recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • High integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Experience working in engineering, industrial automation, or technology companies is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in scaling HR processes for fast-growing companies.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or local HRMS).
  • Experience in training, coaching, or organizational development.
  • Knowledge of cross-border HR practices in the ASEAN region is a plus.
