Business Account Manager

Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development & Sales Growth:
- Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify, qualify, and develop a robust pipeline of prospective accounts from a wide range of industry sectors, both domestically and internationally.
- Strategic Outreach: Execute a multi-channel sales approach, including cold calling, targeted email campaigns, and social selling to engage key decision-makers.
- Solution-Based Selling: Actively promote company products by delivering compelling, value-driven presentations and demonstrations that address specific customer challenges and needs.
Account Management & Relationship Building:
- Strategic Account Management: Develop and execute detailed Account Plans and Share Gain Funnel strategies to penetrate priority accounts, maximize customer lifetime value, and achieve sales targets.
- Customer Relationship Management: Establish and maintain strong, long-term business relationships with current customers to ensure account health, secure recurring business, and foster customer loyalty.
- Customer Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, overseeing and addressing their demands, site issues, and product development interests.
Strategic Analysis & Collaboration:
- Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor and report on customer needs, competitor activities, and industry trends to identify opportunities for new products and services.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Mobilize internal engineering and technical teams to provide superior application support and ensure product qualification at customer sites.
- Business Planning: Conduct regular sales forecasting, analysis, and benchmarking. Present findings and strategic recommendations to senior management to inform business decisions.
Proposal & Strategy Development:
- Customized Proposals: Develop clear, persuasive, and effective written proposals and quotations for both current and prospective customers.
- Innovation & Strategy: Brainstorm and share new ideas and marketing strategies to ensure our approaches are aligned with business objectives and maintain a sustainable competitive edge.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Chemical Engineering, Material Science, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in business development, key account management, or strategic sales, preferably within a B2B industrial or engineering environment.
- Languages: Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Malay is required to manage relationships with our diverse client base.
- Location: Must be willing to work in Perai.
