We are seeking a talented and driven Sales & Marketing Assistant Manager to join our team in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. This full-time position plays a crucial role in driving sales and marketing initiatives within our established music retail business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for increasing Yamaha Pro Audio product sales and market share in Malaysia.
  • Focus on B2B Installation Segments including live sound, broadcast, touring, and installed sound environments.
  • Establish, develop, and strengthen relationships with new prospects, assigned dealers, and targeted business segments.
  • Plan and execute sales and marketing strategies tailored to Yamaha Pro Audio solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with channel partners, rental companies, system integrators, consultants, and end-users.
  • Identify business opportunities and drive demand creation across targeted segments.
  • Support Yamaha's brand leadership in delivering high-quality, reliable, and scalable audio solutions.
  • Contribute to Yamaha's growth and positioning in the Malaysian professional audio market.
  • Engage with key verticals such as entertainment venues, event halls, houses of worship, corporate AV, and government/private facilities.

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional audio sales or technical sales role, preferably within the entertainment, broadcast, installation, or AV industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with dealers, partners, and end-users.
  • Proven track record in solution-based B2B sales, with experience in developing and executing successful sales strategies.
  • Basic understanding of PA system design, signal flow, and the technical requirements of professional audio environments.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with strategic thinking and the ability to identify market opportunities.
  • Passion for the pro audio industry and strong knowledge of the local market and key installation verticals (e.g., HoW, corporate AV, entertainment venues).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), with the ability to create and present clear, data-driven sales reports.
  • A results-driven team player with a proactive, customer-focused mindset and a strong desire to contribute to business growth.
