About the role

We are seeking a talented Weapon System Engineer to join our dynamic team at MILDEF INTERNATIONAL TECHNOLOGIES SDN BHD. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced weapon systems that are crucial to our company's success. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the safety and effectiveness of our products, which are used by clients worldwide. The role is based in our state-of-the-art facilities in Bandar Sri Sendayan, Negeri Sembilan.

What you'll be doing

  • Designing and developing cutting-edge weapon systems, including firearms, explosives, and other military-grade equipment
  • Conducting research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and innovation in weapon technology
  • Testing and evaluating weapon systems to ensure they meet rigorous safety and performance standards
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, technicians, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of weapon systems
  • Documenting and reporting on the development process, including technical specifications and test results
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in the Automotive Engineering industry

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the design and development of weapon systems or similar military-grade equipment
  • Proficient in computer-aided design (CAD) software and simulation tools
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and safety standards
