Job Responsibilities :

· Develop and enhance food and beverage recipes based on market trends and customer feedback

· Conduct test kitchen trials to ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portioning

· Propose seasonal or limited-time menu items to refresh the product line

· Prepare detailed recipe costing to ensure profitability and pricing accuracy

· Perform shelf-life tests and recommend suitable packaging and storage methods

· Work closely with central kitchen, purchasing, and operations to ensure smooth product rollout

· Document finalized recipes, SOPs, preparation methods, and food handling guidelines

· Ensure all products meet Halal and food safety standards (HACCP, MESTI)

· Collaborate with Operations for staff training and launch readiness

· Coordinate with Marketing to support promotions and product information

· Source and evaluate new raw materials in coordination with suppliers

· Conduct market research and benchmarking to stay ahead of F&B trends

· Generate R&D ideas based on customer preferences and competitor analysis

Job Requirements :

· Minimum Diploma in Food Science, Culinary Arts, Food Technology, Nutrition, or related field

· Minimum 2 years of experience in food product development, preferably in F&B or restaurant industry

· Strong interest in food and beverage innovation, with a good palate for taste and quality

· Knowledge of Halal requirements and food safety standards (HACCP, MESTI)

· Able to work independently in kitchen and production environments

· Hands-on and detail-focused with strong documentation skills

Salary & Other Benefits :

· Annual bonus and salary increment based on performance

· Expected salary : RM2,500 – RM4,000 per month
