FG Media Sdn Bhd a proud subsidiary of the Malaysiakini Group is seeking an accomplished Senior HR Executive. You'll play a key role in managing the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to development and offboarding ensuring every team member feels supported and valued throughout their journey with us.

Employment Type: Full-time (Permanent)

Compensation: Basic Salary + Fixed Allowances

Key Responsibilities :

Recruitment & Selection

Manage the full recruitment process — from job postings to onboarding new hires.

Source, screen, and shortlist candidates through various platforms.

Coordinate interviews and support hiring managers in making the right talent decisions.

Ensure a positive candidate experience at every stage.

Onboarding & Probation

Lead onboarding activities to ensure new hires settle in smoothly.

Oversee probation evaluations and provide updates to managers.

Prepare employment contracts and maintain compliance with local labour laws.

Employee Administration

Maintain accurate HR records and employee data (including EAF & HRM systems).

Track contract renewals and temporary hires, ensuring timely follow-up.

Prepare monthly headcount and HR reports.

Offboarding & Employee Feedback

Manage resignations, conduct exit interviews, and compile feedback insights.

Share data-driven recommendations to improve employee experience and retention.

Learning & Development

Coordinate training and development initiatives, including HRDF-related processes.

Support managers in identifying learning needs and ensuring training effectiveness.

HR Projects & Continuous Improvement

Support HR process improvement initiatives and special projects.

Assist the CEO of the subsidiary company in various HR-related matters.

Role Requirements:

  • Must have at least 3 years of working experience in human resource management, preferably in total rewards (which includes payroll) and recruitment.
  • Bachelor's degree / Diploma / professional qualification related to human resources / industrial psychology or in any similar discipline.
  • Preferably have some basic knowledge on local employment laws and regulations.
  • Strong communication skills, and able to communicate proficiently in English & Malay. Candidates who are proficient in Mandarin will have an added advantage.
  • Able and willing to learn quickly and succeed.
  • Meticulous, organised, and can prioritise and execute tasks effectively and independently.
  • Team player with ability to work well under pressure and to adapt in a fast paced changing environment.
