Production Quality Engineer

Job Scope:

  • Develop and maintain inspection specifications, work instructions and equipment check work instructions based on control plans
  • Formulate and execute MSA plans, including implementation, analysis and continuous improvement of measurement systems.
  • Collect and analyze process quality data, follow-up with quality abnormalities and drive corrective action and improvement closure.
  • Organize and implement LPA plans, follow up on audit findings and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
  • Oversee the process of NCP handling, including identification, isolation and disposal.
  • ⁠ ⁠Monitor product and process quality of the production to prevent large-scale defects.
  • Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan (CP), process standard reviews and evaluate the SOP documents from other departments.
  • Participate in operation assessments, including evaluations of equipment, process and quality control capabilities to identify and raise the potential of quality risks.

Requirements:

  • ⁠ ⁠Possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or equivalent.
  • ⁠ ⁠Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MQE, PQE or SQE role, preferably in a lithium battery manufacturing or automotive industry.
  • ⁠ ⁠Able to communicate in Mandarin, English & Malay language.
  • ⁠ ⁠Strong knowledge of quality control processes, audit procedures and non-conformance management.
  • ⁠ ⁠Experienced in the development and implementation of QSA and QPA-related standards.
  • ⁠ ⁠Ability to analyze data and apply statistical process control techniques. Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in 8D reporting and root cause analysis.
  • ⁠ ⁠Possess knowledge of five quality tools (APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, MSA).
  • ⁠ ⁠High Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint), JMP, Minitab or other analysis tools.
  • ⁠ ⁠Willing to work at our new manufacturing plant which located in Karangan, Kedah
