The Truck Customs Clearance – Forwarding Executive is responsible for ensuring the smooth and timely clearance of imported and exported goods through customs authorities. This role involves preparing and submitting customs documentation, coordinating with regulatory agencies, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations to avoid delays at border check points.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Job Creation & Documentation Checking

  • Create customs clearance jobs in the internal system.
  • Accurately enter shipment details including consignee, shipper, and cargo information.
  • Review and verify Notice of Arrival (NOA) and Tax Invoice for completeness and correctness.
  • Ensure all shipment data aligns with supporting documents.

2. Document Verification

  • Verify original shipping and customs documents (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List).
  • Check for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with local regulations.
  • Flag discrepancies for resolution before submission.

3. Customs Declaration Preparation

  • Prepare and submit customs declaration forms such as:
  • K8
  • ZB1
  • ZB4
  • Ensure correct selection and usage of declaration types based on shipment category.

4. Mapping & Data Preparation for K8 Declaration

  • Cross-check and confirm that:
  • HS Code accurately matches product descriptions.
  • Declared Value aligns with the commercial invoice.
  • Quantities are correctly declared in appropriate units (e.g., KG, PCS, M3).
  • Validate all fields before final submission to avoid customs delays or penalties.

Skills / Qualification:

  • Minimum 2-3 years' experience in customs clearance or logistics.
  • Strong understanding of customs regulations, HS codes and Trade compliance.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of incoterms and international trade process.

Working Location:

Jalan Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas, TST 507, 81560 Gelang Patah, Johor Darul Takzim, Malaysia.

Working Hours:

04.00am-11.00pm (Mon-Sat)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
