About the role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our dynamic team at Ardex Quicseal Malaysia Sdn Bhd. The full-time role, based in Bandar Puteri Puchong, Selangor, focuses on spearheading new business development and strengthening our market presence in the construction industry.

What you'll be doing

  1. Identifying and prospecting new potential customers across the construction sector
  2. Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to generate new business opportunities
  3. Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and decision-makers
  4. Preparing and delivering compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations
  5. Negotiating contracts and closing sales to meet or exceed individual and team targets
  6. Providing exceptional customer service and after-sales support
  7. Collaborating cross-functionally with the marketing and operations teams
  8. Staying up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities and new product developments

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum of 5 years' proven experience in a similar sales role, preferably in the construction materials or related industry
  2. Demonstrated success in new business development and account management
  3. Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  4. Strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify and capitalise on market opportunities
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software
  6. Resilient, self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team
  7. Degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  8. Experienced senior sales executives are also encouraged to apply.
