What You'll Do
As Senior Corporate Planning Manager, you will be entrusted with leading both corporate planning and portfolio management activities for . Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve collaborating with senior leaders to develop forward-thinking strategies that align with organisational goals while ensuring these are effectively communicated throughout the business. You will play a central role in designing performance measurement systems using industry-recognised frameworks such as OKRs or balanced scorecards. By preparing insightful reports for executive stakeholders and facilitating annual retreats, you will help maintain focus on key priorities. Your expertise will also be called upon to provide market intelligence to various business units, troubleshoot operational challenges across divisions, and proactively manage risks associated with ongoing projects. Success in this role requires an ability to connect teams around shared objectives while maintaining rigorous oversight of performance metrics.

  • Lead the formulation of comprehensive corporate strategies, business plans, and key strategic initiatives for the entire group to ensure alignment with long-term objectives.
  • Challenge and review investee companies' corporate KPIs during the strategic planning process to drive continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Develop and monitor robust corporate KPIs using OKR or balanced scorecard frameworks, providing early interventions when performance deviates from targets.
  • Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management and the board of directors to track progress against strategic goals and objectives.
  • Produce and disseminate relevant market research insights to Strategic Business Units (SBUs) to inform decision-making and support business growth.
  • Organise the annual board and management retreat by coordinating logistics, agenda setting, and follow-up actions to foster alignment on key priorities.
  • Closely track and monitor the performance of investee companies through detailed analysis of financials, operations, and project milestones.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues within investee companies, particularly those involving cross-divisional or business unit challenges that require collaborative solutions.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the company's diverse portfolio of projects and investments by implementing effective risk management practices.
