What the Role Entails: Your Mandate for Impact

You'll operate as a
Managing Consultant
within your domain, with dual responsibility for market growth and team performance. Your day-to-day will be a mix of strategic leadership, hands-on recruitment excellence, and business development.

1. Build, Lead, and Conquer (Specialism Ownership)

• Take the Financial Helm:
  Assume full ownership of your functional specialism's P&L, drive financial results and report directly on the performance of your business
• Ignite Growth:
  Develop and execute a winning strategy to grow new and existing business opportunities immediately, turning potential into high-value, repeat client partnerships.
• Mentor Future Stars:
  Recruit, onboard, and lead a high-performing team of recruiters, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous success.

2. Strategic Partnerships and Client Consulting

• Become the Market Guru:
  Deeply understand client needs, company culture, and the intricate skill profiles required, moving beyond job descriptions to deliver
  perfect-fit talent solutions

  Consult with c-suite and HR leaders on cutting-edge recruitment strategies and critical market trends, cementing your role as an indispensable strategic advisor.

3. Operational Excellence and Delivery

• Recruitment Mastery:
  Go beyond the boards. Develop and implement innovative
  sourcing strategies
  —leveraging professional networking, industry events, and direct relationship building—to secure top-tier, high-calibre candidates.
• Own the Journey:
  Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from expert screening and resume shortlisting to providing essential candidate coaching and expertly coordinating complex interview processes.
• Data-Driven Evolution:
  Analyze key metrics like time-to-fill and cost-per-hire to identify bottlenecks and relentlessly drive operational efficiency and process improvements.

What You Bring: The DNA of a Leader

• Proven Leadership:
  A minimum of
  2 years of people leadership/management experience
  is essential. You know how to motivate, mentor, and drive a team to hit collective targets.
• Market Depth:
  A
  deep understanding of at least one core market or industry
  that you've successfully recruited within. You speak the client's language and know where the best talent is to be found.
• Academic Foundation & Experience:
  A minimum degree combined with relevant professional experience that demonstrates your commercial acumen and recruitment expertise.
• Local Expertise:
  As this role is based in Malaysia, you must be a
  Malaysian citizen or a permanent resident of Malaysia
  with the right to work.
