Job Summary

The Regional HR Manager oversees the full spectrum of human resources functions across multiple countries within the assigned region. This role partners closely with regional and country leadership teams to develop, implement, and align HR strategies that support business objectives, talent development, organizational growth, and compliance with local labour regulations.

The role requires strong HR Business Partnering capability, regional exposure, and the ability to lead cross-border HR initiatives while ensuring consistency in HR policies, processes, and employee experience across markets.

Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of Regional HR Manager are as follows: -

1. Regional HR Strategy & Business Partnering

  • Partner with regional and country leadership teams to understand business needs and translate them into HR strategies.
  • Support organizational growth by advising on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent deployment.
  • Drive HR initiatives that enhance productivity, employee engagement, and leadership capability across the region.
  • Provide strategic HR advisory and coaching to business leaders on people-related decisions.

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment strategies for the region, ensuring the sourcing of high-quality talent.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand capability gaps and build long-term talent pipelines.
  • Lead regional recruitment campaigns, succession planning exercises, and critical role identification.

3. Talent & Leadership Development

  • Implement talent management frameworks including succession planning, capability development, and high-potential identification.
  • Collaborate with L&D teams to deliver regional learning initiatives and leadership development programs.
  • Ensure consistent implementation of career development pathways across markets.

4. Performance Management

  • Drive the annual performance management cycle across all countries in the region.
  • Coach managers on performance assessments, goal-setting, and feedback practices.
  • Ensure performance outcomes are linked to development, rewards, and succession planning.

5. Compensation & Benefits Management

  • Partner with Total Rewards team to ensure competitive and consistent C&B practices across the region.
  • Support regional benchmarking, salary structure reviews, and incentive/pricing analysis.
  • Provide advisory to managers on pay decisions, promotions, and reward programs.

6. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Manage complex employee relations matters across markets, ensuring fair and consistent handling.
  • Provide guidance to HR teams and leaders on disciplinary, grievance, and conflict resolution processes.
  • Lead regional engagement initiatives and monitor engagement metrics, turnover trends, and employee sentiment.

7. HR Operations, Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure alignment and standardization of HR policies, processes, and systems across the region.
  • Monitor compliance with country-specific labour laws, statutory requirements, and internal governance controls.
  • Support HR digital transformation and the adoption of HRIS across all markets.
  • Use data analytics and HR metrics to support decision-making and improve regional operations.

8. Regional Projects & Change Management

  • Lead and support regional HR projects including restructuring, M&A integration, organizational development, and culture transformation.
  • Manage cross-border initiatives to enhance HR efficiency, employee experience, and scalability.
  • Drive communication and change management plans to ensure smooth execution of transformation programs.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.
  • 8–12 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3–5 years in a regional or multi-country HR role.
  • Proven experience in HR Business Partnering and driving HR strategies across multiple markets.
  • Exposure to multinational or regional business environments is an advantage.
