Why This Role Matters
As a Key Account Manager, you will be instrumental in expanding Easmed's ENT presence in Malaysia. You will work directly with ENT specialists, surgeons, and hospital teams to introduce, support, and grow the adoption of advanced surgical technologies. Your role directly influences patient outcomes and strengthens Easmed's position as a trusted partner to the medical community.
What You Will Do
1. Sales & Market Expansion
- Drive sales growth for Easmed's ENT portfolio across key hospitals and specialist centers.
- Identify new business opportunities and develop account-specific strategies to expand market share.
- Provide consistent follow-up to ensure high customer satisfaction and close the sales cycle effectively.
2. Clinical & Operating Theatre Support
- Support live surgical cases by demonstrating the correct operation and application of ENT surgical equipment (capital and consumables).
- Provide real-time technical guidance to operating theatre staff to ensure safe and effective use of our products.
- Participate in workshops, product trials, cadaver labs, and clinical demonstrations.
3. Relationship Building & Key Account Management
- Build strong long-term relationships with ENT specialists, surgeons, and key opinion leaders (KOLs).
- Maintain regular engagement to understand customer needs and enhance product adoption.
- Collaborate closely with hospital procurement, clinical teams, and administrators.
4. Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Gather competitor insights, market developments, and customer feedback to support strategy planning with the Sales Manager.
- Monitor account performance and develop targeted action plans for improvement.
5. Internal Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and technical teams to ensure smooth execution of product launches, events, and customer support activities.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our sales processes and customer experience.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or degree in a science, healthcare, biomedical, or engineering-related field.
- Minimum
3 years of medical device sales experience
, preferably in ENT, neuro, or surgical equipment. - Experience supporting surgeons in operating theatres is highly advantageous.
Skills & Attributes
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
- Strong relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals.
- Possession of a car and willingness to travel to hospitals and client sites.
- Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Highly driven, proactive, and able to work independently with strong ownership over assigned accounts.
Nice-to-Have
- Experience participating in live surgeries, cadaver workshops, or surgical equipment demonstrations.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, especially related to head and neck structures.
- Familiarity with capital equipment sales and consumable product cycles.
