About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven Business Development Executive to join our team at Ohta Precision (M) Sdn Bhd. This full-time position will be based in Kajang, Selangor and will play a crucial role in developing new business opportunities for our company.

What you'll be doing

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand market presence
  • Revisit and manage relationships with existing clients to maintain long-term partnerships
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and potential leads
  • Prepare quotations, proposals, and presentations professionally
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction

What we're looking for

  • Diploma/Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in precision parts or manufacturing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Proficient in Mandarin and English (written and spoken), with Japanese proficiency preferred. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • Able to work independently, with a high level of responsibility and reliability
  • Willing to travel as required
