This position reports to:
Channel Manager

Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will be primarily responsible for planning and ensuring implementation of Excitation strategy, to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for systems, products and services in a profitable way. You will be responsible for leading the sales of Excitation Business across Asia Pacific region proactively, to exceed the sales targets through high performance in order and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. Our partners include system Integrators, Distributors, and value-added Reps. The work model for the role is: LI-Hybrid. This role is contributing to the Process Automation Energy Industries Division of ABB across Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, India, Nepal and Sri Lanka markets. You will be mainly accountable for:
  1. Focus on growing Product Sales for Unitrol 1000 & Synchrotacht via Indirect Sales Channels in addition looking for Sales Representatives in collaboration and alignment with the Account Management teams.
  2. Identifying the excitation White Spot and business potential, supporting the local units in listing the priority of the sites to be addressed, track, support and assure the local unit reach the target KPI for the related initiative.
  3. Driving improvement in sales through the special initiatives, attending the rollout meeting and organize the internal meeting.
  4. Be the point of reference for the local units for any clarifications and support.
  5. Monitoring of the overall sales pipeline with periodic report and identification of outside business in the region.
  6. Participating proactively to the periodic sales calls.
Qualifications for the role:
  • Degree in preferably in electrical, power electronics or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in selling power generation or excitation solutions or service.
  • Ability to demonstrate strong understanding of Asia Pacific market.
  • Possess knowledge of Excitation systems is advantageous.
  • You are passionate about driving sales and growth of the business.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
  • You are at ease communicating in English, verbally and in writing.
