Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with customers and distributors.Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Develop sales forecasts, monitor sales performance, and prepare regular reports for management. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with product development, marketing, production, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth coordination and alignment of sales activities.Trade Shows and Events: Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and events to showcase products, build brand awareness, and generate sales leads.Compliance and Regulations: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, labeling requirements, and industry standards. Stay updated on relevant regulations and implement necessary measures.

Education and Experience: A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often required. Relevant experience in sales and management, preferably in the food manufacturing industry, is highly beneficial.Knowledge of the Food Industry: Understanding of food manufacturing processes, supply chain dynamics, distribution channels, and regulatory requirements relevant to the food industry.Sales and Marketing Skills: Proficiency in sales techniques, negotiation, and relationship-building. Familiarity with marketing strategies, product positioning, and market segmentation to effectively promote food products.Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership and management skills to motivate and guide the sales team, set sales targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback.Industry Contacts and Networks: Existing relationships with distributors, retailers, and potential clients in the food industry can be advantageous for expanding sales opportunities.Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey product information, deliver presentations, and negotiate contracts with clients.Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify opportunities, address challenges, and develop effective sales strategies.Customer Focus: Deep understanding of customer needs, preferences, and buying behavior in the food industry.
