Job Description

For assigned products and programs, execute supply chain programs that support delivery, releasing POs on time to reduce supply risk, reduce costs, and optimize cash flow.

Attending production meetings, represents shortages to internal and external stakeholders.

Communicate with suppliers on the escalation, pull in, push out, and cancel.

Troubleshoot and diagnose root causes and corrective actions for misalignments such as planning errors, unplanned demand, ECO implementation, item attribute, and external supply related constraints.

Maintain DDMRP (Demand Driven MRP) programs such as Kanban and safety stock replenishment contracts inclusive of analyzing and updating quantities, maintaining proper ERP system setup, keeping applicable contractual liabilities and amendments current, mitigating Ichor’s liability, resolving delivery discrepancies, providing forecasts to suppliers, and ensuring suppliers are performing to contractual service levels.

Understand and demonstrate, diagram, and measure all value-add activities in a product's value chain.

Establish daily working relationships with suppliers, managing changing priorities and escalations by executing POs and ensuring on-time deliveries.

Highly organized and able to manage significant PO workload, track, and drive closure on issues.

Responsibilities

  1. For assigned products and programs, execute supply chain programs that support delivery, releasing POs on time to reduce supply risk, reduce costs, and optimize cash flow.

Qualifications

  1. Ability to learn and understand the supplier’s business and manufacturing processes, technology sourced, and product families.
  2. Ability to concisely communicate escalations, requirements, and issues to suppliers, stakeholders, peers, upper management, and customers with clarity.
  3. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  4. Strong leader, self-motivated, proactive, detail-oriented, hands-on, and results-driven.
  5. Ability to influence cross-functional teams including technical decision-makers.
  6. Strong knowledge of all aspects of purchasing, supplier selection, cost analysis, and negotiation.
  7. Work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Experience and Education

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
  2. Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in more than one operational discipline.
  3. Strong knowledge in material and purchasing analysis.
  4. Experience working in ERP & PLM systems; Oracle, SAP, and Agile preferred.
  5. Advanced Excel knowledge.
