Ensure timely, accurate and complete reporting on Category spending, strategic plans, project status, and performance against established KPIs\Partner with key stakeholders in the senior management capacity to articulate Group Procurement Category agenda and strategies, influence them to support the goals and enable necessary resources to deliver the objectives Plan, develop, execute strategic sourcing projects to deliver targeted savings and other KPIs, including cash flow improvement, risk management and compliance Collaborate with key stakeholders from other functions to lead ideation of Productivity and Innovation projects; kick-off, maintain progress, ensure timely achievement of the objectives and share periodic reports on the status. Ensure the development of a reliable supply base for the Category needs, and supplier evaluations and manage supply risks and business continuity Ensure visibility and transparency of the Category spend, provide thought leadership by continuously analyzing the data and providing a strategic perspective on identified key drdrivers that impact the business Interface with users to understand needs and deliver continuous value across the supply chain Own contract negotiations, and management processes and ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies Act as the voice and a leader of Group Procurement and perform as Category SME & ensure transparency and promote good governance Manage direct reports, develop talent, and strengthen staff capability; ensure all staff receive appropriate training and fair support for career development Pursue continuous improvement and innovation through digital solutions.
Job Requirements University degree and excellent academic record required; advanced degree with 15+ years in a professional business environment (at least 5 years of managerial and people development experience preferred) Deep Strategic Sourcing knowledge across multiple standard indirect categories (examples: Marketing, ICT, Professional Services, Facilities Management.) that delivers excellent Sourcing Strategies. Expertise in Sourcing Steps and Processes (examples: Conducting Spend Analysis, Clean Sheets, Total Cost of Ownership and Cost Breakdown Analysis, Sourcing Strategy Development, Product/ Services Requirements & Features Mapping, RFP Excellence, Business Case development, and an outstanding ability to Negotiate).
Knowledge of technology solutions that digitize and automate Sourcing Procurement transformation experience is highly valued. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly articulate creative, practical solutions.
