Role Overview & Primary Accountabilities:

  • Understanding key elements of revenue management (Pricing strategy, price pack architecture, mix management, promotion optimization, trade promotion optimization/gross to net and commercial policy)
  • Ability to structure workstreams overcoming ambiguity (e.g. lack of availability of complete data sets)
  • Indepth experience in working with financial data, category & market data (across APAC) to identify commercial opportunities including commercial project experience with emphasis on leading / influencing change
  • Indepth understanding of various analyses tools (macro, excel, PowerBI etc), techniques (price elasticity, cross elasticity, mix management etc) & terms (Promo ROI, Promo performance, Gross to Net, Price Index, GM%, mPNOC etc)
  • Delivering the analyses & recommendations in an FMCG context through impactful partnerships & ownership from project brief to delivery
  • Quality of deliverables including input data sanctity & robust analyses outputs
  • Experience across modern trade, ecommerce and traditional sales
  • Demonstrable experience in business analysis, financial planning and reporting within FMCG or similar business
  • Conversant with financial data tools (Anaplan, PowerBI, SAP primary & DMS secondary sales) and market data tools (Nielsen, IRI & eComm portals) & Sales IT Tools (CAS, Promax, Newspage etc)
  • Ability to use macro and related modelling tools for analyses as required

You're also a university graduate with a Business Management (MBA) or other related field and have at least 8 years of continuous work experience.

Essential Requirements:

  • Business Management (MBA or Bachelors) or Marketing or CA 810 years of relevant work experience in FMCG. Broad multichannel experience preferably in established FMCG and/or Retail in the APAC region
  • Commercial Acumen
  • Strong Commercial knowledge required to manage both the operational and strategic agenda with proven large scale/multinational Project Management skills
  • Ability to integrate complex, incomplete or ambiguous data with ERP experience, including strong analytical Excel / PowerPoint presentation skills
  • Solid Analytical (excel, macro) skills
  • Revenue management experience preferred in FMCG industry; selfstarter and able to drive progress in an ambiguous and fast paced environment

Key Deliverables:

  • Develop insights and RGM action plan in partnership with country commercial teams to deliver sustainable profitable growth
  • Examples of business analysis & insights generation including but not limited to:
  • identification of NRR (Net Realized Revenue) opportunities within specific channels x category/sector cohorts to be executed within the year and implementation tracking for ongoing project reviews
