DESCRIPTION OF ROLE


As a point of contact for the Immigration and Mobility matters, you'll work closely with the HRBP and Recruitment team.

You will bring a creative approach to problem solving underpinned by a positive attitude and the ability to not only pivot quickly, but consistently provide high quality output and outcomes.

Strong communication skills, ability to learn and strong work ethic will ensure your success in this role. Your role will be responsible for the coordination of our Malaysia inpat, expats, and
- other immigration and relocation cases.
SPECIFIC KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACTIVITIES

General Responsibilities;

  • Develop constructive and professional relationships with local stakeholders and HR colleagues within Subsea
  • Provision of HR support to assigned areas of the business.
  • Efficient, timely, accurate and costeffective management and delivery of HR activities, always considering the impact of local employment legislation.
  • Support the standardization, compliance and efficiency of HR policies, processes and systems across Subsea
  • Ensure that HR capitalizes on lessons learned and is performed in accordance with best practice; striving to mitigate risk, promote safety and integrity.
  • Other activities as directed by HR Manager / HR Director.

Global Mobility;

  • Manage all immigration processes and ensure that all employees have the correct work visa for Malaysia and are employed under required terms and conditions.
  • Work with the HRBP team to coordinate all inpat and expat cases related to Malaysia.
  • Interface with external relocation agent and practical arrangements of assignee's arrival, departure, and life in KL (accommodation booking, transport booking, shipping )
  • Point of contact for our interface with Malaysian immigration authorities and overview of our annual visa "quota".

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • A minimum of 2 to 3 years' experience in Human Resource Advisor/ Coordinator or similar role.
  • Attention to details.
  • Able to juggle a variety of tasks at once.
  • The ability to priorities work and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Professional presentation.
  • Plan, coordinate and prioritize activities successfully to work independently and as part of a team environment
