The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee's buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

  • The Business Development and Partnerships teams at Shopee are dynamic and energetic. The teams are always looking to acquire business opportunities to drive Shopee to be the No. 1 ecommerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan.

    The aim of the Business Development and Partnership teams is to provide Shopee's buyers with a wide variety of product listings at the best prices.

  • Team Management:
  • Lead and mentor a team of Incubation Managers, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve individual and collective goals.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify skill gaps, and provide training opportunities to enhance the team's capabilities.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work culture that empowers team members to excel and meet their objectives.
  • New Seller Incubation:
  • Strategize and implement effective onboarding processes for new sellers, ensuring a seamless integration into our platform and systems.
  • Monitor the progress of new sellers and their performance metrics, identifying challenges and implementing action plans to drive growth and success.
  • Collaborate with other departments to address commercial and operational issues faced by new sellers, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure regular communication with sellers to understand their needs, concerns, and aspirations, and proactively address their inquiries and feedback.
  • Utilise data analytics to assess the team's performance, identify trends, and develop datadriven strategies to enhance efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in any field with at least 6 years of working experience
  • Proven experience in relationship management, sales, or business development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset, capable of deriving insights from data and implementing datadriven decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive results, meet targets, and work under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
  • Teamoriented and a natural leader, with a passion for inspiring and guiding others to achieve their best.
