Job Description
  • Develop and implement comprehensive HR strategies and programs in alignment with business goals, with a special focus on strategic HR initiatives.
  • Take charge of key HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, compensation and benefits, and labor relations.
  • Lead and manage the HR team, establishing clear goals, providing feedback, and fostering continuous skill and knowledge development among team members.
  • Provide oversight for the entire employee life-cycle, managing processes from recruitment and onboarding to training and development, performance management, and compensation and benefits.
  • Ensure strict compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations to guarantee the organization operates within legal frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with the CEO and senior leaders to actively contribute to the development and implementation of the company's overall business strategy.
  • Represent the company in the community and at industry events, enhancing its presence and influence in the professional landscape.
  • Comply with and actively support EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) policies, rules, and regulations at all times, contributing to a safe and secure workplace environment.
  • Serve as the Compliance Manager, ensuring the company adheres to compliance obligations in accordance with integrity and competition modules adopted by shareholders.
The Successful Applicant
  • Ideally hold a degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent, with a specific preference for candidates with a background in manufacturing.
  • Accumulate a substantial 15 years of experience in a related field, notably with a significant 10-year focus on managing and leading teams within manufacturing organizations.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Malaysian Employment Law.
  • Possess a dynamic and tactful personality, maintaining a high degree of professionalism and integrity, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills, all within a manufacturing context.
  • Showcase strong leadership qualities, a results-oriented mindset, dynamic persona, and effective follow-through, backed by solid organizational skills in the manufacturing sector.
  • Display the ability to work independently and without direct supervision, with a specific emphasis on manufacturing processes.
  • Exhibit the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively in a manufacturing setting.
  • Show meticulous attention to detail, unwavering commitment, and the capability to thrive in high-pressure manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrate proficient communication skills in both verbal and written English and Bahasa Melayu, tailored for effective communication within a manufacturing context.
  • Exhibit adeptness in computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., with a focus on their application in manufacturing scenarios.
