Applications & Infrastructure/Hardware Acquisition, Development, Support and Rationalization:

  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
  • Perform routine Audit systems and assess their outcomes to ensure security of data, network access and backup systems and to preserve assets, information security and control structures
  • Monitor changing network technology and deliver a technology update to the executive team each quarter
  • Responsible for creating and administering disaster plans that will keep the company functional in the event of a crisis
  • IT infrastructure monitoring and managing the resources for different sites.
  • Involved in Requirement Analysis, High Level Design, Low Level Design, Coding and Integration.
  • Designing the test strategy, plan for UAT, integration testing.
  • Develop innovative network troubleshooting methods that reduce downtime and lower repair costs

Team Management:

  • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
  • Manage the competency development of staff through training, coaching and providing appropriate work experience to enable them to perform professionally and effectively in the short term and develop their marketability in the long term.
Project Management

  • Offshore coordination to execute project in all exiting & potential commodities.
  • Manage information technology and computer systems
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
  • Work closely with departmental managers to determine the maintenance and growth needs of the network
  • Project planning, scoping, lead time estimation, tracking, client communication & presentation.
  • Implementation of project plans with effectiveness evaluation deadlines ahead of customer deadlines.
  • Worked closely with end users, optimization user value, and provide technical advice. Involved in understanding and transmitting the business requirements for the project, and translating these into functional specifications.
  • Determine the rationale and methods for upgrading company network software programs each time an update is released
  • Organizing and establishing deadlines for major IT projects such system updates, migrations, upgrades, and outages

IT Governance, Strategy & Plan:

  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures and create best practice manuals
  • Locating and seizing chances to enhance and update software and systems
  • Creating workshops and training programmers for staff
  • Running routine system operations reports and sharing them with top employees
  • Managing and reporting on the IT budget's allocation

Requirements:

  • Degree, majoring in the area of Information Systems, Computer Science, Network Communications or Engineering or its equivalent.
  • Minimum 10 years experience in IT Support operations including at least 5 years experience in managing an IT enterprisewide infrastructure.
  • Experienced in managing IT in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experienced in defining and managing an outsourced IT Service provider's contract, operations and provision of services.

Salary:
Up to RM10,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Ulu Kelang: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Bachelor's (preferred)
