We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented General Insurance Administrator to join our team.

As an integral member of our insurance department, you will play a vital role in providing accurate and timely motor insurance quotations to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate motor insurance quotations for customers based on their specific requirements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and guidelines.
  • Collect and review customer information, including vehicle details, driver information, and coverage preferences, to determine appropriate insurance quotes.
  • Conduct risk assessments by evaluating factors such as driver's history, vehicle condition, and previous claims to determine type of insurance coverage.
  • Utilize insurance rating systems to generate insurance premiums accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally, always providing exceptional customer service.
  • Update and maintain accurate records of customer interactions, insurance quotes, and policy details in the company database or CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in motor insurance administration or related insurance roles is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of motor insurance policies, coverage options, and industry practices.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to review and interpret customer information effectively.
  • Customercentric mindset and ability to provide outstanding service while handling customer inquiries.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software.
  • Proficiency in insurance rating systems is preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Education and Certification:

  • Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma
  • Additional certifications or courses in insurance administration or related fields are advantageous.
