- Perform customary personal and job supervisory duties required to ensure effective coordination and accomplishment of Policy Servicing processing units' activities.
- Authorize to process and approve policy servicing alteration (financial and /or non-financial) requests, monitor and manage the Policy Servicing team, ensure requests are completed/ delivered within the department's Service Level Agreement.
- Review, verify, approve and ensure that alteration requests are processed within specified guidelines and within or exceed the agreed service commitment benchmark, financial authority conferred, service delivery is error free and meets the requirements of customers. Controls are established to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Participate in quality improvement projects in line with Company's quality objectives; implement, monitor and review work process to enhance quality, productivity and efficiency.
- Communicate/ liaise with branches, sales support team and customer service team on any changes to processes and guidelines.
- Report to Head of Department (HOD)/ management on any departmental related issues, submitting the monthly SLA report or any report as and when required by HOD and/ or the Regulatory Bodies.
- Conduct internal quality control audits as required and directed by HOD.
- Actively participate in planning, coordinating, developing staff and/ or sales support training. Coaching of Policy Servicing staff/ sales support team and agency team.
- Review and monitoring of Policy Servicing system related issues; liaise with related departments to resolve policy servicing issues/ errors. To be involved in Policy Servicing system requirements and setting of business rules.
Job requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of relevant field/ FLMIS/ACS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Life Insurance Industry (particularly in Policy Servicing (POS/PAD)
- Minimum of 2 years in supervisory position.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in spoken and written English
