Our Sales teams help to deliver Reckitt's purpose by building shared success with our customers, making access to the highest quality hygiene, wellness, and nourishment possible in-stores and online.

Within Sales, we're focused on achieving outperformance across all of our channels, operating in highly competitive categories. This focus results in a dynamic, fast paced environment where cross functional teams are encouraged to collaborate to achieve success.

We have around 10,000 sales people across the world, within market roles and ranging in areas like Field Sales, Key Accounts, Trade Marketing and Category Development.

About the role

You'll have the accountability to drive the customer strategy for assigned key customers, driving and executing business growth plans as set by the Sales Leadership Team. Playing a key role in the Sales team, you will oversee the achievement of customer and channel plan.

Your responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans for key customers. This includes setting sales targets, identifying growth opportunities, and outlining strategies to achieve.
  • Lead Trading Term Negotiation with key customers, including pricing, ullage, terms of trade, promotions, and other contractual matters to ensure customer profitability.
  • Drive effective channel strategies and range strategies to maximize and optimize profitably and reduce variability in line with market goals.
  • Build, accurately forecasts and achieve the account (s) results: turnover, market share, profit. Plan all growth drivers accordingly.
  • Ensure it execution and tracking down to store level and sell out. Suggest plan adaptation when needed.
  • Work in close partnership with brand and trade marketing to ensure development and implementation of customer category strategy and best in class 4P execution.
  • Lead sales team to achieve IP sales targets for assigned businesses/territories and overall business objectives.
The experience we're looking for
  • 8 years of overall sales experience with a minimum of 4 years sales experience in independent pharmacy channel within the FMCG industry.
  • Have experience in managing a team, or guiding, mentoring the team.
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making and analytical skills.
  • Strong leadership role with the ability to identify and implement effective sales force coverage of all specialists
  • Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating.
  • Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
  • Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing and customers and internal teams.
  • Strong commercial understanding of business issues/opportunities.
