We are seeking to hire a Facilities Executive to commence employment as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities
- To manage the facilities team ensuring that work assigned has been attended to promptly and updated upon completion.
- Ensure safety of all team members, including sub-contractors when preparing duties.
- Daily check email & helpdesk and respond to work requests by staff & teachers within 24hrs, justifying the priority of tasks to be executed.
- Routine checks on facilities and equipment to ensure good condition emphasizing safety policy and compliance.
- Work closely with the Facilities Manager on daily job tasks and schedule of maintenance works.
- Monitor contractors/vendors work, ensuring work completion as per schedule, quality of work, and cleanliness prior to final sign off as per agreed scope of work.
- Must be a problem solver on technical related matters and willing to work extra hours for special school events/functions.
- Supervise all service providers' work such as security, cleaners, swimming pool, landscape, lift, and others.
- Support Facilities Manager on the annual budget planning, pricing, and sourcing quotations.
- Raise RF upon approval to proceed with repair, renovation, and other urgent repair or breakdown repair works.
- Monitor requests on the facilities booking, checking availability and itinerary requests.
- Check and verify service providers' invoices and utilities bills prior to submitting to the Facilities Manager.
- Monitor and purchase stationery items, pantry items, hardware items, and spare parts.
- Inspect school buildings, facilities, and structures determining the need for repair or renovation.
- Work collaboratively with others to develop effective professional relationships with subordinates.
- Communicate effectively with parents, staff, and transporters.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties requested/assigned as required by staff & teachers, especially regarding classroom and facilities defects.
- Always follow the school's policies and procedures.
- To ensure professional and effective communication and consultation, as appropriate, between colleagues, parents, and students at Asia Pacific Schools.
- Publicize and celebrate achievements.
- Assist with the organization of open evenings, consultation events, and other events relating to the school.
- Contribute to marketing activities for Asia Pacific Schools.
Other Expectations
- Fully and positively participate in the school's performance appraisal scheme in order to develop and enhance personal and service performance.
- Undertake any other reasonable duties requested/assigned as required by SLT or Line Manager, especially with regard to the school's administrative functions.
- Ensure that school policies including those relating to Safeguarding, Race Equality, Equal Opportunities, Code of Conduct, and Health & Safety are adhered to.
- Diploma/Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering and Air Conditioning system.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Computer literate with strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage own workload effectively.
- Must have tact and diplomacy in all interpersonal relationships with the public, students, and colleagues at work.
- Must be self-motivated and have personal drive to complete tasks to the required timescales and meet high quality standards.

- Must be responsible for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people they are responsible for or come into contact with.
