**Introduction**:
The APAC Partnership Development Manager will lead the business development and partner relations efforts in the APAC region. The position is based in APAC and can be remote.
The partnership focus is to provide survey respondents to Toluna and their extensive global client base. The partnerships will, through technical means (i.e. Survey Links, or an API), integrate with Toluna, providing access to their members in real time for survey completion efforts.
The APAC Partnership Development Manager will be responsible for seeking out, contacting, converting, and managing all aspects of partnerships with digital, mobile and social media publishers, communities, organizations, and any other media outlets fitting for Toluna and their specific client needs. This role will report to our Senior Director, Partnership Development.
General responsibilities include prospecting and developing leads, booking and generating meetings, negotiating and closing partnership deals and managing the relationship through the entire lifecycle of each partnership.
**Responsibilities**:
- Identify and build relationships with strategic partners to expand APAC audience reach including niche audience groups.
- Support Toluna’s APAC Business Development efforts by creating Strategic Partnerships and Alliances with companies that have mobile and online audiences/databases to be monetized.
- Conduct and oversee supplier rate cards and partnership agreement negotiations.
- Work closely with the Partner Success Team to ensure successful partner integration to support the business needs for supply enhancement.
- Evaluate current partnership programs and help identify areas of opportunity to increase overall supply capacity, diversification, and reduction in costs.
- Maintain relationships with partners, as well as motivate partners to improve performance (ex: increase their user database, response rates, expansion to new markets).
- Generate performance reports, provide analysis, and execute on that analysis to ensure positive results.
**Required skill set**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising or Technology.
- 3+ years of partnership development and/or account management
- Superstar negotiating and networking skills
- Good understanding of market research specific to supply and sampling management
- Ability to compile and analyze performance data and metrics for best decision-making
- An entrepreneurial mindset - you need to be a strategist and hands-on
- Innovative, creative, dedicated and possess high energy
- Work effectively with sales, services and marketing to collect client/business feedback to adapt to Toluna’s supply acquisition plan
- Experience in managing multiple, competing priorities, duties and/or projects to accommodate evolving responsibilities
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent project management and time-management skills
- Mobile media understanding a plus
- API knowledge a big plus
- Lead generation / cold prospection skills (mandatory)
- PC Proficiency and solid working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.)
- Mandarin/Cantonese speaker is a must.
- Position can be based in Malaysia or Hong Kong.
