**Position Overview**: The Regional Human Resources Director is a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the Asia region of OUR Rescue. This position plays a critical role in promoting organizational values and enabling business success through human resources management, recruiting top talent, performance management, training & development, employment cycle changes and talent management.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy and the organization's mission.
- Manage local HR personnel and provide regional support.
- Address employee relations issues in the Asia region.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract, hire, and onboard top talent.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the region.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and aligns with organizational goals.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management, adhering to local labor laws and international standards.
- Report to the SVP, People at Headquarters and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Manage HR budgets and ensure the efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure cohesive organizational management.

**Requirements**:

- Proven working experience as HR Director or other HR executive role, preferably in a non-profit or international organization.
- Deep knowledge of HR functions (talent management, recruitment, training & development, etc.).
- Ability to strategize and formulate business plans with a comprehensive understanding of HR issues and their impact on organizational success.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the organization.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree or HR certifications preferred.
- Willingness to travel as required for regional and headquarters meetings.
