Manager Sales and Relationships Asia

Position objectives
This role has the following objectives:
Develop new business relationships with potential acquiring partners across Asia that aligns to group strategy. Manage existing relationships with established Acquiring partners across the Asia region, including Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam. Drive opt-in acceptance by working directly with merchants hence to train and educate staff and management on DCC and grow opt in rates. Work with partner acquirers to provide support in driving project outcomes.
This is a commercial role and responsible for driving business growth and revenues.
Main duties and responsibilities
- Identify and approach potential acquiring partners to align with Global Blue and promote the full range DCC and MCP solutions.
- Implement strategies jointly with Acquiring Partners to retain merchants by embedding products and solutions that provide merchants with added value and strengthen acquiring relationships.
- Increase opt-in levels by working with Merchants and Acquirers in countries where mentioned above.
- Assist Acquirers to sell in DCC and other solutions by supporting sales pitches as the DCC SME.
- Ensure that all records in Salesforce that relate to accounts for which they are responsible are up to date and accurate at all times. This includes the recording of meetings, the correct recording of key personnel contact details etc.
- Ensure that that reporting on business activities are provided to management by the agreed time frames.
Main KPI’s
- Maintain Yearly Account Plans with every Acquirer.
- Perform Quarterly Business reviews with key Acquirering Partner. Meetings are to cover:
- DCC performance
- Suggestions on how to improve performance
- Objectives for the coming quarter and beyond
- Update on issues that may have been reported by the Acquirer or merchants.
- Updates on new products and business strategies.
- Develop and maintain account plans for key merchants across each Acquirer. This should include DCC performance and actions to improve performance.
- Promote additional products to Acquirers ie: eCommerce, ATM DCC, etc. Goal is to have all channels for an acquirer covered for DCC / MCP.
- Show DCC opt-in growth year-on-year across your acquirers.
- Achieve quarterly meeting targets to ensure regular engagement and focus on building relationships and partnerships.
