Finance & Accounting Executive

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the monthly profit and loss, and balance sheet reports
- Responsible for tax reporting and inventory processing
- Advise on estimates for project funding
- Prepare weekly cash flow statements, and controlling expenditure and cash flow
- Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts
- Examine financial records to check for accuracy
- Ensure proper maintenance of documentation and filing to support all accounting entries
- Prepare audit schedules for submission
- Handle statutory audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirement
- Responsible for full set of accounting/ finance functions and assist in preparing monthly financial report and schedules in a timely and accuracy basis
- Perform day-to-day account payable operations inclusive of supplier invoices and payment processing according to the deadlines
- Ensure correct AR/ AP processes and standards are adhered in accordance with company’s SOPs
- Coordinate and liaise with other departments on all accounting matters and resolve queries/ problems that arise
- Performs other related duties/ tasks as assigned by superior/ management

**Requirements**:

- Must possess at least a Degree in Accounting or other related disciplines
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in the related field
- Excellent presentation, communication, problem solving, interpersonal and time management skills
- A valuable team player and able to work independently
- Ability to handle full set of accounts is required
- Experience in SQL or other cloud accounting software will be an added advantage
- Computer literate with good command of both written and spoken English and Malay
- Confident, proactive, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Possess own transport and willing to travel to work

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM3,900.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
