**Job Description**:

- To be thorough on all room categories, room types understand their differences and unique selling points.
- Understand the hotels availability and block out dates and the current selling strategies.
- Be able to use the Opera Property Management system, in particular the Reservation, Front Desk, Cashiering, Housekeeping and Report screens.
- Ability to key in a reservation for an FIT, GIT and party guest.
- To understand the hotels tariff, and all rate structure including retrieving rates and promotions using the Opera System.
- To understand the hotels market segmentation, source, and origin in accordance with the AccorHotels corporate guidelines
- To be conversant in the reservations filing system
- To be fully conversant and comply with the Hotels credit facilities.
- Understanding the Up-sell techniques by offering the guest a higher room category then what
- has been originally booked.

Work Experience
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language.
- Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage.
- Good communication and customer contact skills.
- Service oriented with an eye for details.
- Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team.
- Self-motivated and energetic.
- Must be well-presented and professionally groomed at all times.
