As we are now expanding our HR Global team to better support DHI’s growth strategy, we are currently looking for a **HR Specialist.**

**Your role**:
As a HR Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end employment cycle administration of the respective country or region. You will provide HR advisory and administrative support across a range of areas such as recruitment through employment changes, local legal compliance in cooperation with DHI’s legal team and HRBPs, compensation and benefits related topics, separations, and any other HR-related matters pertinent to DHI. Your responsibilities will also encompass ensuring seamless HR administration, maintaining order, and adhering to global processes including the necessary localization.

**Your key responsibilities**:

- Administer HR related topics of a respective country and or region, which contains but not limited to; recruitment, compensation and benefits, learning and development, talent management, local policies, personnel administration, and payroll data preparation
- Ensure all activities align with global processes, policies, guidelines, the local practices and the global payroll vendor
- Maintaining high standard of data quality in HR data within our internal business system
- Provide first level support to the employees and managers within the region regarding local HR queries
- Utilizing the DHI ticketing system to analyse and enhance HR processes
- Maintain partnership with other business support functions to ensure alignment across functions and cross functional CPIs
- Generate reports on an ad hoc basis
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external personnel administration & payroll vendor

**Who are we looking for?**
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in economics, people related fields or administration) and/or experience of 2-3 years in an HR Generalist role
- Familiarity with local labour laws, with knowledge of Malaysian and Singaporean regulations being advantageous
- Hands-on knowledge and experience in managing the employee lifecycle processes
- Experience in supporting HR processes at a regional level is a plus
- Understanding and practical experience with HR Operations
- Experience with a global HR System is preferred
- Demonstrated mindset for Continuous Process Improvement
- Fluency in both English and Malay, both spoken and written.
