- **Brew Crew Opportunity**_
Our Global Brew Crew is seeking Assistant Manager, Food Innovation, who will be reporting to the Managing Director & Head of Production.
This role is responsible to develop new food products for Production. This includes creating the product prototype and refining the taste profile based on experimentation.
The role will assist in quality audits and is involved in the formulation of food production standards and SOPs.
- **Key Responsibilities**_
In this role, you will:
- Create new product prototype and recipe formulation.
- Provide recommendations for modifications to existing processes.
- Innovate and create new bakery recipes that align with market trends and company objectives.
- Ensure bakery products meet quality and regulatory standards through thorough testing and feedback collection.
- Identifies, develops, and creates new product concepts and recipes and recommends improvements to existing products consistent with marketing, customer requirements, and operations capabilities.
- Keep detailed records and prepare reports to communicate R&D progress and findings.
- Prepare costings and product specifications for all developing products.
- Stay informed on industry trends and consumer preferences to identify new product opportunities.
- **Your Ingredients**_
**Qualification & Experience**
- Possess a culinary Degree or equivalent Certification in bakery or pastry arts, food science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Bakery Chef, or R&D Chef in the food industry, with a focus on bakery products.
- 6 years’ combined experience in Central Kitchen for SPM holder
- Minimum 2 years as Pastry Chef in a Large Central Kitchen.
- Possess strong knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient functionality, and recipe formulation.

- Creativity, innovation, and passion for experimenting with flavors, textures, and presentations.
- Analytical skills for evaluating product quality, conducting sensory testing, and taking feedback.
- Project management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage R&D projects.
- Communication, collaboration, and presentation skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to food safety and quality standards.
- Familiarity with food regulations, labeling requirements, and industry best practices in bakery R&D.
