Be abreast with the market place and comp sets promotions, activities and performance so you can ahead of the competition.
- Survey the market, the competitors in terms of pricing and closed dates with the help of Price Trackers, as a basis for future pricing strategies.
- Analyze the results on a monthly basis, by day of week, day type, segments and by comparison with competitors (benchmark);
- Analyze the contracts performance (price, allotments, number of room sold, etc) before decisions on renewals are taken;
- Forecasting on your business performance.
- Understand the seasonality of the business and contribute in decisions on pricing plans to balance yield and volume.
- Contribute actively to the compilation of annual business plan and strategic sales & marketing plans.
- Provide creative input into Meetings Product Development to maintain a point of differentiation by developing innovative products and revenue opportunities.
- Ensure compliance to Wyndham Co-Meeting Offer mandatories and implementation of new standards.
- Works with Superior and Director of Human Resourse to ensue the departmental performance of staff is productive. Duties include:

- Assist in planning for future staffing needs.
- Assist in recruiting in line with company guidelines.
- Prepares and administers detailed induction program for new staff.
- Assist in maintainig a comprehensive, current and guest focused set of departmental standards

and procedures and oversees their implementation.
- Ensures training needs analysis of M&E staff is carried out and training programs are designed

and implemented to meet needs.
- Provides input for probation and formal performance appraisal discussions in line with company

guidelines.
- Coaches, counsles and disciplines staff, providing contructive feedback to enchance

perforamnce.
- Regularly communicates with staff and maintains good relations.
