**The opportunity**:
Our client is a Singapore headquartered Fintech operating regionally across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Malaysia and is licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) as a Major Payment Institution under the Payment Services Act.

As a dynamic Business Development Executive, you have a proven track record in sourcing, closing and executing strategic partnerships. Your strengths lie in the ability to uncover partners’ and customers’ needs to provide tailored solutions, negotiate complex deal structures and close deals to deliver results. You will grow relationships and drive initiatives that meet both our partners’ as well as the organisation’s business objectives to take the business to the next level.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Driving overall revenue growth by developing and owning yearly business development plans and pipelines to achieve targets.
- Identifying strategic partners, building a pipeline of prioritised deals and managing the BD funnel.
- Developing commercial proposals based on detailed understanding of partners’ needs and objectives, working closely with internal stakeholders like product, marketing, compliance and operations.
- Negotiating commercial and contract terms and developing joint business plans between partners and the organisation.
- Owning the end-to-end partnership process, including implementation of partnership campaigns, training and empowering partners’ sales teams to effectively articulate the value proposition and solution to their end-users.
- Building and deepening partner relationships with new and existing partners, reviewing and optimising partnership performance to grow revenue driven through partnerships.
- Ensuring our BD approach is driven in line with operational and risk management processes.
- Gathering feedback on how to enhance our product and service and work cross-functionality to input into solution development.
- Growing partnerships channel to be a significant customer acquisition source driving revenue growth.

**What you will bring to the table**:

- Minimally, 3 years of experience sourcing and managing partnerships, commercial and contract negotiation and executing campaigns in FinTech or cards and payments.
- Minimally, a Bachelor's Degree in Science or Arts.
- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial and commercial mindset - always looking for business opportunities.
- Superb people skills and relationship-building abilities.
- Ability to manage complex, multi-faceted relationships.
- Analytical and metrics-driven.
- Flexible and able to multitask, an excellent project manager with the ability to work within an ambiguous, fast-moving environment.
- A demonstrated ability to be resourceful in the face of obstacles and a proactive problem solver.
