**Job Summary**:
The receptionist is responsible for front office duties related to answering and redirect calls as necessary, greets and handles the check in process for all Masimo guest, clients and vendors, help visitors and employees for any issues and handles other administrative duties as needed.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:
Front Desk Management:

- Greet and welcome visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls to the appropriate department or individual.
- Manage the reception area to ensure it is clean, organized, and presentable.

Visitor Assistance:

- Provide information to visitors about our company, services, and facilities.
- Assist guests with inquiries, appointments, and other requests.
- Escort visitors to meeting rooms and notify relevant staff members of their arrival.

Administrative Support:

- Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents.
- Receive and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders as needed.

Communication Coordination:

- Coordinate with internal departments to relay messages and ensure timely communication.
- Schedule appointments and manage calendars for executives and other staff members.
- Assist with the coordination of meetings, conferences, and events as required.

Security and Safety:

- Monitor security cameras and access control systems to ensure the safety of employees and visitors.
- Enforce security procedures and protocols to protect company assets and maintain confidentiality.
- Respond to emergency situations and follow established procedures for evacuation and crisis management.

**Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in office administration is a plus.
- Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical requirements/Work Environment
This position works in an office environment. It requires long stretches of sitting and infrequent standing and walking.

Daily use a computer and other computing and digital devices required.
