**GENERAL SUMMARY OF POSITION**

The Category Supply Planning Manager bears overall accountability for ensuring reliable supply plans within the Integrated Businss Planning (IBP) & Sales & Operational Planning (S&OE) horizon while optimizing inventory across the category (Surgical) finished goods portfolio of products and suppliers for all Ansell regions and warehouses worldwide.

The role will be accountable for key activities below:
- Consolidating the unconstrained distribution requirements & direct shipment demand forecast and creating the constrained net requirement plan based on the bottleneck capacity constraint-
- Rough cut capacity planning, critical raw material & capacity requirements planning that will enable identification of the bottleneck constraint.-
- Optimizing inventory to maximize Return on Capital Employed (ROCE ) and fulfilment of distribution requirements.**What would your role look like in detail?**- Constrained Supply Planning-
- Run the constrained supply planning process according to the cadence as defined by the organization.
- Consolidate the net DRP (Distribution requirements plan) from regions & DS (direct shipments) demand forecast for assigned product groups/portfolios, working with regional planners to understand the variances from one cycle to another.
- Shape the unconstrained requirements as above according to known supply/capacity constraints
- Communicate constrained supply forecast with Source(s) of Supply, release constrained supply plan for SBU planning specialist to execute PO placement with Source(s) of Supply.
- Assess gap between constrained supply forecast & unconstrained requirements and provide relevant insight and data points to facilitate communications by regional planning teams to commercial teams and customers
- Work across the organization with different stakeholders in further optimizing the constrained supply plan and to close gap between the constrained supply forecast and unconstrained requirements.
- Prepare CBO projections based on constrained supply plan, work with Regions on identifying root causes, corrective actions & recovery dates.-
- Rough Cut Capacity Planning & Constraint Management-
- Own capacity parameters for assigned product/capacity group - review capacity data from Operations such as number of working days, line speed, cycle time, OEE etc and calculate line capacity for assigned product category.
- Challenge capacity numbers and output by supplier and work closely with Operations and SoS to ensure optimized output from overall capacity and manufacturing capability for assigned product category
- Review capacity utilisation load at different steps & constrain the supply orders to plant based on the bottleneck step
- Reconcile regional inventory needs with supply constraints and translate/allocate to regions via committed plan-
- IBP / Supply Reviews-
- Run supply reviews at the cadence as required by SBU with Supply Specialists & Source(s) of Supply to review constrained NRP forecast and handshake on constrained supply plan.
- Provide inputs to Demand/Supply Handoff and other IBP process meetings
- Provide the constrained supply plan input to the IBP Committed Plan
- Support with implementing the global allocations and tracking of global allocation adherence
- Support with IBP topics preparations, preparing planning scenarios/trade-off options for issues related to assigned product portfolio/capacity group.-
- Product Life Cycle Supply Management-
- Consolidate demand requirements from Global Product Portfolio Management (PPM) and ensure that the supply plan of the phase in of New Product Development (NPD) is translated into the constrained NRP requirements.
- Ensure master data for NPD is set up in collaboration with Global PPMs, regional planners.
- Communicate status of inventory build with key stakeholders and follow up with Regional Planners on demand actualization & inventory until product stabilizes.
- Work with cross functional teams to manage replenishment and forecasting parameters
- Manage risk of raw material and finished goods exposure through analyzing, communicating and optimizing build down/phase out-
- Any other ad-hoc projects**What will you bring to Ansell**- University degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance or similar level through experience.-
- APICS, Lean/Six Sigma or any supply chain related Certification is a plus.-
- 5 years of relevant and transferable experience.-
- Experience with ERP system, preferably Oracle and SAP.-
- Experience in sales, manufacturing planning
