**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare monthly/quarterly/yearly financial close to ensure smooth month end closing process and meet reporting timelines.
- Manage daily operations of business finance with end-users and provide support to end-users on finance matters.
- Assist in optimising the finance operational functions to support the business.
- Prepare information requested by Group Tax in order to complete tax computation or tax audit/investigation to ensure proper and sufficient information are provided to address tax matters.
- Prepare monthly inter-company charging or billing to ensure charges are in accordance with proper documentation and computation.
- Working closely with external auditors, effective communication with all involved parties and ensuring timely resolution of audit issues.
- Ensure compliance with policies, processes and procedures to support timely, reliability and accuracy of financial data of the group, safeguard the company assets and optimise the operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Prepare statistical report or information required to meet statutory and regulatory reporting obligations and requirements.
- Assist in preparation of management and board papers on any matters as and when required to ensure adequate information is communicated to management and board for decision making and proper approval is sought.
- Any other assignments as and when required by superior.

**Job Requirements**:

- Professional qualification in accountancy and/or finance (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, etc) or Degree in Accountancy and/or Finance.
- At least 5 years relevant experience in similar capacity but not limited to similar industry.
- Preferably a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants with sound technical knowledge of applicable accounting standards and financial reporting requirements, tax requirements and other related law/compliances.
- Staying abreast of changes of legislations and industry practices regarding financial standards and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
- Good communication and writing skill.
- Able to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical problem solving skills.
- Lead, manage and mentor juniors to achieve high performance through ongoing coaching and provide structured development plan.
