Responsibilities:

- Process payroll for all employees on a timely basis, including calculating wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Review and verify timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant documents to ensure accuracy of payroll data.
- Enter payroll data into the payroll system accurately and in accordance with established procedures.
- Prepare and distribute payroll checks or direct deposits to employees on scheduled pay dates.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, including pay discrepancies, deductions, and taxes.
- Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and tax laws to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience in payroll processing or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns, including quarterly and annual filings, in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies or errors as needed.
- Generate payroll reports and provide analysis as required by management.
