Assistant Manager, Advancement

**Responsibilities**:**Fundraising Outreach, Management & Relations**
- Work with IMU Alumni Association and Chapters to craft viable fundraising campaigns
- Research, review and recommend viable external beneficiaries
- Research and identify funders, connect, propose and implement fundraising campaigns
- Manage funders and beneficiaries’ expectations and execute fulfilment activities
- Manage fundraising and/or sponsorship agreements and signing ceremonies or partnerships
- Work with internal and external parties towards synergistic alignment to industry, alumni and university.
- To manage the end-to-end process of fundraising and advancement projects, tracking, monitoring and preparing intervention activities to achieve objectives. To manage funder relations and fulfilment activities. To prepare workable policies and governance documents. To work collectively with the Advancement & Alumni team in event management, database management, Community management and Retail management.
***Advancement Projects**
- Work with internal and external parties to develop, plan, execute, track, monitor and intervene major gift and annual giving programs to achieve the desired outcomes
- Elevate and manage IMU and Alumni Association’s public profile through public relations and communications programs involving news media visibility, publications and visual design, as well as electronic media initiatives that enhance the national stature of the university and the IMU Alumni Association
***Operational Duties**
- Provide support in organizing activities with Alumni Development & Relations Unit
- Preparation of relevant reports and identify beneficial information and insights on Sustainability, ESG, SDG and other benchmarks within the purview of the university
- Constantly review SOP/workflows/processes for good governance and transparency
- Good event management skills at high level events
- High awareness of integrity, timeliness, a team player in constant discussion and feedback with the team
**Job Requirements**
- A University Degree in any field
- Possess project and event management experience and skills
- 3 years’ experience in institutional fundraising
- Competent with MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Canva
- Good written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong teambuilding skills and ability to engage productively with colleagues to achieve shared goals.
