Customer Service Chat Representative

Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Chat Representative for our travel company. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and assistance to our Japanese-speaking customers via chat, ensuring their travel experience is smooth and enjoyable. As a native Japanese speaker, you will play a crucial role in providing accurate and culturally sensitive support to our customers.
**Responsibilities**:
1. Customer Support: Act as the main point of contact for Japanese-speaking customers seeking assistance or information through chat channels, ensuring prompt and accurate responses to their queries regarding travel bookings, itineraries, travel policies, and general inquiries.
2. Reservation Management: Assist customers with booking, modifying, and canceling flights, hotels, and other travel-related services, ensuring thorough understanding and compliance with company policies and procedures.
3. Problem Resolution: Address customer issues and complaints, provide appropriate solutions, and escalate complex problems to the relevant departments or senior management when necessary, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
4. Cultural Sensitivity: Demonstrate a high level of cultural sensitivity and understanding, ensuring accurate translations and interpretations while delivering exceptional customer service, respecting Japanese customs, etiquette, and language nuances.
5. Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our travel products, services, promotions, and partnerships, ensuring the ability to provide customers with accurate and up-to-date information.
6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, transactions, and complaints, ensuring adherence to internal protocols and reporting requirements.
7. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for improvement in customer service processes and support systems, providing valuable feedback to management and contributing to ongoing initiatives aimed at enhancing customer satisfaction.
**Requirements**:
1. Native Japanese Speaker: Must possess native-level fluency in Japanese language, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
2. English Proficiency: Proficient in English to effectively communicate with the company's international team, access relevant information, and collaborate on customer inquiries when required.
3. Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in customer service, especially in a travel-related industry, is highly desirable. Experience in providing support via chat platforms is preferred.
4. Travel Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of travel industry products, processes, and reservation systems will be an advantage.
5. Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, including empathy, active listening, and the ability to understand and respond to diverse customer needs, while maintaining a professional and positive demeanor.
6. Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and offer practical solutions to customer issues efficiently.
7. Adaptability: Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, demonstrating flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
**Salary**: RM2,500.00 - RM8,500.00 per month
